Dr. Susan Swain
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Susan Swain discovered the possibility of a career in the field of audiology after encountering her own middle-ear problems and surgeries. With a great mentor and a drive to help others, Dr Swain excelled in her studies at A.T. Stills University, University of South Carolina, and Rutgers University, where she earned her Au.D., M.Aud, and BA in Speech and Hearing Sciences, developing a real passion for her career. Her involvement in her community goes far beyond her practice, where she volunteers, educates, and elevates the people around her through countless groups and other organizations.

Kari Piestrak
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Kari Piestrak joined Hearing Plus Audiology in 2020 after 21 years in the dental field! Originally from California, Kari moved to Blackshear, Georgia and has become a integral part of our team. Since joining us, Kari has received certifications as an Audiology Assistant, Dementia Practitioner, and is licensed as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. She continues to enhance her knowledge in the Audiology field and as she serves our community as a hearing healthcare professional.

Lauran Allbritton
Patient Experience Coordinator
Lauran Allbritton is a Patient Care Coordinator at Hearing plus. After graduating from Charlton County High School she studied at Wesleyan College for 2 years in Macon Georgia. Ultimately Lauran transferred to NOVA Southeastern where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Communication Disorders. Lauran’s ultimate goal is to continue her career with Hearing Plus Audiology as a Hearing Instrument Specialist and to serve her community as a hearing health care provider.

Lexi Sweat
Patient Experience Coordinator
Lexi Sweat is a Patient Care Coordinator at Hearing Plus. Her job is to assist you on your journey to hear better! She graduated from Pierce County High School in 2020. Before starting her journey here at Hearing Plus she worked as a CNA for 3 years. She takes pride in her role at Hearing Plus Audiology. She enjoys seeing how much joy this profession provides for so many people and wants to help in any way she can!
